Dive and ROV support

Smit Lamnalco offers a full range of subsea inspection, repair and maintenance services, drawing on over 50 years of terminal maintenance operations and its own permanent teams of divers. Its divers are fully trained and experienced in air diving operations, surface supplied mixed gas diving operations, and saturation diving operations.

The company has an unparalleled safety record within the industry, having never suffered a diving incident, and is a full and active member of the ‘International Marine Contractors Association’ (IMCA). Smit Lamnalco also offers Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) services that include observation and inspection.

Emergency response

In addition to oil and fire–fighting, Smit Lamnalco provides an arrangement of pre-planned emergency response, including offshore/onshore evacuation and emergency response to LNG incidents, such as boundary cooling, single/multi water curtain production and emergency towing.

Smit Lamnalco works closely with customers in establishing robust and effective security measures to counter identified threats to their facilities and our operations in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code. Employees both ashore and afloat attend security training courses to familiarise themselves with the code and their duties and responsibilities regarding compliance.

Vessels conduct regular drills to maintain their level of preparedness.
