Drawing on more than 50 years of terminal maintenance experience and relying on the skills and expertise of our permanent diving teams, we provide a full range of subsea inspection, repair and maintenance services.
Smit Lamnalco offers a range of inspection services, both above and below the waterline for floating, SPM and land based facilities. Our state-of-the-art inspection systems and experienced personnel ensure safety and quality without compromise.
ROV Services
Smit Lamnalco owns a number of inspection class Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) to aid underwater inspection of offshore facilities at marine terminals, in water depths of up to 300m. When used in conjunction with a dive spread, these enable flexible subsea inspection and reporting regimes.
Inspection duties at a marine terminal may include:
- Hull and platform inspections
- Subsea hose, risers and PLEM
- SPM mooring chains
- Pipeline integrity
Both the ROV and its operating crew can be accommodated on our support vessels when not in use.
ROV services can be provided on a stand-alone basis or as part of a wider turnkey package.
